Terms of service
Last updated: August 2026
Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service are a legally binding agreement between you and Chrona ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Chrona website and application (the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
The service
Chrona is currently offered as an early-access product. Features, availability, and pricing may change as the product develops, and we may pause or discontinue the Service at any time.
Connected calendars
If you connect a Google or Microsoft calendar account, you authorise Chrona to access your calendar data via that provider's API in order to provide clash detection and scheduling features. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any calendar data you connect, including events involving other people. You can disconnect your calendar accounts at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to reverse engineer it;
- use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service outside of any API we provide.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Chrona and protected by intellectual property laws. Your own calendar data remains yours; we don't claim ownership over it.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it reliable and accurate, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not liable for any decisions made based on it (for example, a missed clash or scheduling conflict).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and disconnect your calendars at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict of law principles.
